The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the corporate headquarters marketing and customer communication functions and coordinating cross-divisional marketing projects teams.   Serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to marketing communications.  Develops and leads a marketing team that will develop and execute new business models, channels and partners to position business segments as innovators and leaders.  The Marketing Manager reports directly to the Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer.
  • Works directly with senior management to establish and implement short- and long-range marketing goals, objectives, policies and procedures for the organization; evaluates program effectiveness and affects changes required for improvement
  • Provides leadership and direction in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the strategic marketing plan for the organization
  • Establishes marketing goals to support and drive increases in share of market and profitability of products and/or services
  • Collaborates with global sales force to market the company’s brand and value proposition to current and target customers
  • Engages in direct selling in collaboration with sales team as needed to support global sales growth
  • Develops and leads a marketing team that will develop and execute new concepts, business models, channels and partners to position business as innovators and leaders
  • Works with internal technical teams across all groups to establish selling tools for engineered solutions
  • Studies end markets to identify areas to apply our value added position to drive new sales opportunities
  • Develops and executes strategic marketing plan: trade shows, Ads, press releases, tech days at customers to ensure the profit growth and expansion of company products and/or services
  • Manages the corporate branding ensuring NN Trademarks and Trade Names are properly protected globally
  • Analyzes market trends and recommends changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback
  • Ensures effective control of marketing results and that corrective action takes place to be certain that the achievement of marketing objectives is within designated budgets
  • Develops and manages annual marketing budgets for the organization, regularly monitors expenditures; prepares summary assessments and reports
  • Manages and approves content for corporate websites: website and
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required in Engineering
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience in technical sales/marketing role
  • Experience with managing a marketing team
  • Ability to take company’s technical platform and turn it into a value proposition for customers with associated tools to convey the message
  • Able to work cross functionally and across all operating groups
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Masters’ Degree or MBA a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Motivated self-starter with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable on manufacturing process technologies across the entire company
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with careful attention to detail and follow-through
  • Must be self-motivated and have a drive to excel
  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential material
