The role of the Senior Analyst – EDI Development and Support is to plan, design, develop, and deploy EDI messaging between the Company’s ERP systems and its various trading partners (both suppliers and customers). This includes conducting and managing communications with these partners and our various operations. This position is also responsible for the entire EDI interface with QAD-EE. Additionally, the Senior Analyst – EDI Development and Support is responsible for monitoring operations and processes to ensure the successful transmission, receipt, and processing of EDI messages. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
  •          Lead efforts to design, test, and deploy EDI relationships with identified trading partners
  •          Perform all of the EDI development and configuration within QAD-EE
  •          Work with other ERP analysts or third-party contractors to integrate EDI with their systems
Operational Support
  •          Manage relationships and monitor performance and cost with all VANs; recommend changes, if necessary
  •          Monitor processes to ensure successful transmission and receipt of EDI messages
  •          Define, maintain, and report key performance statistics

  • BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related business field preferred
  • Minimum five-years’ experience programming and supporting EDI in a QAD environment
  • Must be knowledgeable of all aspects of the SDLC
  • Proficiency in Progress 4GL
  • Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices
  • Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans
  • Must be able and willing to perform travel to NN sites as necessary (<25% travel expected)
  • Interpersonal skills to develop and manage relationships with internal customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Works effectively with peers and customers across multiple disciplines, locations, and levels
  • Detailed-oriented and able to multi-tasking strength
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
