The Supply Chain Analyst (SCA) is responsible to provide inputs into the sourcing process(es) and strategy. The candidate also supports the development of RFP’s, presentations to sourcing teams, and maintains online SCM dashboards, workflows, key work processes for the enterprise.  The candidate supports Corporate and Divisional goals for current any future facilities acquired through mergers and acquisitions. 
The SCA is expected to develop input for projects and create adhoc reports utilizing data analysis/modeling from multiple plant supply chain systems. These projects span systems, geographies, and functions.  Ideal candidate must demonstrate strong business acumen, driven by data and be inquisitive for self-learning of tools and development of process for systems.

  • Lean and Continuous improvement  - Utilize and enhance monthly reporting cost out tracker, along with measurement against cost out goal and gap closing project development.
  • Lead narrow selected scopes of spend including, but not limited to, proposal/specification development, cost modeling, supplier selection, price negotiation and bid evaluation processes
  • Construct and develop comprehensive cost models to effectively influence Total Cost of Ownership for the company Supply Chain Managers
  • As assigned, lead discrete projects related to operational strategy, planning and execution that will support the GSC to execute best in class supply chain model.
  • Assist in implementing purchasing system or key documentation
  • Perform statistical analysis, utilize sound reasoning skills, drive stakeholder engagement through use of supply chain and purchasing principles.
  • Prepare and analyze purchasing data to make recommendations that support the GSC supply chain strategies
  • Participate in sourcing councils or meetings to ensure a connectivity to the business
  • Build workbooks that create succinct and informational data-driven recommendations
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of work with prioritization of attention to detail
  • Provide adhoc support to Supply Chain Managers

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent directly-related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years supply chain management experience
  • Experience with a global supply chain teams and operational footprints
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations – develop plans and obtain concurrence
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (with an emphasis in Excel/Access
  • Must be able to travel a minimum of 20%, domestically and internationally 
  • Master’s in Business Administration, or similar advanced degree is a plus
  • Second language (Portuguese, Chinese,  Dutch, French, Polish or Spanish)
  • APICS Certification a plus
  • Certified Program Management
  • Prior experience with Tableau and Office 365 Apps
  • Integration experience a plus as this is a fast paced position requiring high capacity thinking and actions
  • Lean / Six Sigma Certifications
  • Experience with ADP, SAP, shop floor systems a plus
  • Data analysis coupled with strong reasoning skills
  • Interpersonal skills to develop and manage relationships with internal customers and suppliers; negotiate effectively; and present ideas and proposals in clear written and oral form
  • General knowledge of available sources of pertinent business information, analytical skills to evaluate this information and communications skills to prepare / present presentations.
  • Understanding of business and supply chain terminology
  • Ability to think strategically with excellent quantitative skills\

  • Detailed-oriented and able to multi-tasking strength
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Advanced Excel and Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Familiarity with multiple systems (QAD, SAP, Business Warehouse, Access Database, Business Intelligence, Cognos, Oracle, etc.)
  • Lean manufacturing experience
