The Director of Talent & Organizational Effectiveness partners across all levels of leadership, inside and outside the human resources function to design and implement NN’s global integrated talent management and culture strategy. He/she will serve as a human capital thought leader, business partner and consultant to the executive team and senior business leaders, aligning talent management and culture strategy with the overarching business strategy. In addition, this position is responsible for full-cycle talent acquisition, leadership development, performance management, and culture. The Director of Talent & Organizational Effectiveness reports directly to the VP, HR.

  • Serves as a strategic business partner with executive team and senior business leaders to co-develop and drive talent and organizational effectiveness elements of the Company’s strategy
  • Drives talent management efforts such as organizational capability assessment (including succession planning and talent assessment), performance management, competency identification and development, coaching and development
  • Responsible for targeted organization effectiveness, initiatives including organizational design, engagement, and core values; accountable for both operational and enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Champions, supports, and/or leads diversity and inclusion and other targeted initiatives; develops, implements and aligns strategies and practices to enable talent acquisition, development and retention to achieve Company objectives
  • Drives career development strategy; implements practices, processes and tools that align across all businesses to drive cross-business movement and support overall talent strategy
May manage two to four direct reports in the areas of recruiting, training and development.

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources or related discipline
  • A minimum of ten years’ broad-based HR, learning/development and/or organizational effectiveness experience in progressively responsible management roles
  • Demonstrated experience leading change at operational and enterprise levels
  • Experienced leader of people, process, and technology, with verifiable results
  • Effective coaching and mentoring skills of managerial- and executive-level talent
  • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally
  • Advanced degree in I/O psychology, org. development/behavior or equivalent
  • PHR or SPHR certification
  • Proven ability to form strategic partnerships with senior business executives and develop/influence stakeholders in the building of a high-performance culture
  • Outstanding strategic thinking, problem solving, coaching and analytical skills
  • Excellent facilitation skills, project management skills and drive for results
